Terms of Service

By using Mailz.ai ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Mailz.ai is an AI-powered email assistant that processes your incoming Gmail messages and takes automated actions (labeling, archiving, starring, drafting replies, forwarding, notifications) based on instructions you provide in plain English.

The Service is currently in alpha. Features, availability, and pricing may change. We provide the Service "as is" without guarantees of uptime or accuracy.

2. Your Account

  • You must sign in with a valid Google account to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for the instructions you provide and the actions the AI takes based on them.
  • Each Google account is a separate account with its own subscription.
  • You must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to process emails you do not have authorization to access.

3. Gmail Access

You grant Mailz.ai permission to read, label, archive, star, and organize your Gmail messages. We will never delete emails, send emails without your explicit approval, or access data beyond the scopes you authorized.

You can revoke access at any time by signing out of Mailz.ai or removing it from your Google Account permissions.

4. Free Trial & Billing

  • New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access.
  • After the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue processing emails.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. You can cancel anytime from the Billing page.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you believe you were charged in error.

5. Usage Limits

Usage limits (such as daily email processing and instruction length) vary by plan and may change. Current limits are displayed in the dashboard. We reserve the right to adjust limits to maintain service quality.

6. AI Processing

Mailz.ai uses third-party AI models to interpret your instructions and decide how to handle emails. Email metadata (sender, subject, date) and body content (up to 4,000 characters) are sent to the AI provider for evaluation. We do not use your email content to train AI models.

AI decisions may not always be accurate. You should review the activity log regularly and adjust your instructions as needed. We are not liable for actions taken by the AI based on your instructions.

7. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described therein.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time from the Settings page. Closing your account will cancel your subscription, revoke Gmail access, and permanently delete all your data. You can also remove Mailz.ai from your Google Account permissions directly. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mailz.ai and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to missed, misclassified, or incorrectly handled emails.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will note the "last updated" date at the top.
